Why should you care?
(Why should you care?) Why should you care?
(Why should you care?)
Why should you care
about that cause?
Why should you care
Why even pause?
Why should any of that stuff
matter to you?
Why should it matter
what those people do?
They hate you
as much as they hate me
But you’re so blind
you can’t even see.
Why should you care?
(Why should you care?) Why should you care?
(Why should you care?)
Why should you care
About days of rage
Why should you care
they use the press as a stage
Being for them
Is being against me
And being against me
Is also against you
‘Cause you and me
We are one and the same
But you can’t see
You’re just a pawn in their game.
Why should you care?
(Why should you care?) Why should you care?
(Why should you care?)
Why do you make it
your business to care?
Why do you bend over
so far to be fair?
You don’t consider
the fundamental error
In equating between
defense and terror
Between a murderous gang
driven only by hate
And the legal forces
of a bona fide state.
Why should you care?
(Why should you care?) Why should you care?
(Why should you care?)
Why should you care
I’ll tell you why
‘Cause your lofty visions
are just pie in the sky
It isn’t about
this land or that
It won’t be resolved
by solutions so pat
Peace isn’t what
this is all about
They don’t want peace
They just want us out
'Cause being for them
Is being against me
And if you’re for them
You are against me
And if you’re against me
I’ve no need for you
And if that’s the case
Our alliance is through.
Why should you care?
(Why should you care?) …

These lyrics were written sometime during the "second intifada" in the early 2000s, using the Ramones' "I Don't Care" as a lyrical and musical prompt. The song is a message to all the bleeding hearts whose minds are so open their brains fall out. In their zeal to protect their putatively liberal values, they bend so far out of shape that their common sense snaps, and they defend the world's worst terrorists and murderers with whom they share no value in common but the world's oldest hatred ... antisemitism. The Talmud states that someone who is merciful to the cruel ends up cruel to the merciful, and such is exactly the case with these hopelessly misguided do-gooders.
Support for Israel = support for life, love, creativity, holiness, innovation.
Support for haters of Israel = support for death, destruction, murder, terror, hatred. Who would YOU rather support?
